Bodega Queirolo Restaurante

We stopped in here for lunch during a day spent between museums in the Pueblo Libre district of Lima. It had been recommended to us by the owner of our hostel (Miraflores House). We had an excellent lunch here the setting feels authentic and,...from what we could tell, the clientele were nearly all local. The menu was only available in Spanish and little if any English was spoken. Service was polite and quick. The food was excellent a generous portion of Ceviche which tasted excellent and came with a side of beans and sweet potato. We also had the tiradito which was similarly great and a good portion. For two of us this was the right amount of food we left full but not too much so. Drinks need a special mention we both had a pisco sours which was excellent but fairly potent. It made our next museum trip fun I'd definitely recommend them, but you wouldn't want to have one and drive. Overall a great and well priced way to sample local cuisine if you happen to be in that part of town, although I'm not sure I'd recommend travelling out that way specifically to visit here.
