John's Of Willow Glen - San Jose

This place serves a different variety of food really great service n I have been there at least 20 times n never have I had bad service. It has a full bar n the bartender Marcos IS THE BEST a really really great bartender that tends 2 his customers. LOVE THIS PLACEFood: 5/5

Got the tripoli grill platter, spicy chicken pasta and chicken alfredo. The platter was great, spicy chicken pasta was pretty good but the alfredo was just cooked noodles. Sent it back to fix it and they just heavily salted it. Roll up door was open for the bar on a 90 degrees day. Whole place was uncomfortably warm with no real air circulation, we had more than a couple flies because of this. Lastly, who I presume were owners or managers spent most of the time talking to regulars even as we walked by to leave. The waitress was nice though.

Service was very good, we went there with our infant. Foods were tasty. I had the beef gyro Benedict. I would recommend this placeFood: 4/5

This place is amazing! The owner, Antonio, is really present, often mixing drinks or bringing out orders. Good is outstanding, the full bar is new and really nice, and their drink menu is unique and all good.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian dishes, like the eggplant burger!Kid-friendliness: Lots of good options for kidsParking: There is plenty of parking in the back!
