Restaurant bewertenLove this cafe. Meet friends and family here and most recently dropped in for a breakfast bite. Staff are always good and offer an amazing service. Recognise local and regular customers and will go the extra yard. Foods very nice and the menu unusual but not pretentious. They cater well for dietary problems, I’m lactose intolerant and they have adapted dishes for me without an eye roll! Which I experienced at another local cafe in response to a question about dairy. While the surroundings are quirky and perhaps not as pretty as other local cafes my husband and I prefer Buzz Stop for breakfast or a late lazy lunch over any other local places on the basis of consistent quality and decent people who value customers.
Took a chance after reading a few not so good reviews .. and I have to say this place was very busy for Sunday morning breakfast so yes there was a little wait for our table of three .. but as everything was cooked fresh and I must say it was worth the short wait we had .. staff were friendly and will definitely return for Sunday morning breakfast
I don’t recognise many of these reviews as representing anything I have experienced on my regular visits to this local cafe. The menus are varied, and a bit unusual. I am dairy free and never have an issue here and my husband has swapped out items as he is gluten free. Service always friendly and spot on and food very good. I would agree that sometimes drinks seem to take a while to arrive when it’s busy.
Shocking service. For a group of five our drinks were slowly delivered over a 20 minute period and then our ears over the next half hour, although they were only cakes from cabinet. My eat a piece of shortbread) was not delivered only to be told they had sold our, although in jar when ordered. Shambolic is the best term. Very disappointed.
The owner was off his face on something again !! Yelling at young staff and stumbling around aimlessly bumping into things and scowling. What a horrible experience. Coffee is average at best. Staff trying to serve customers but also scattered.
