Cantine des Navigateurs - Sainte-Flavie

We both had the fish and chips...largest piece of fish we've ever had. It was cooked well and the chips were good too. But nothing special. And, being a Brit, I was very disappointed that they didn't have Malt Vinegar.

Fries are great and great tasting and generous shrimp poutine! But the Lobster guedille is good but would benefit having more lobster and more sauce. The view is spectacular!!!!!

Waitress speaks good English and she made some good suggestions: told us we can get the club sandwich and split it to two meals. So this means you add $4 to your sandwich order and you get two coleslaws and two portions of fries and chips as sides. The kids had fish and chips and a cheese burger which they enjoyed. We also ordered a smoked meat sandwich which was okay. The lobster club sandwich was stellar. Coffee was okay. Everything plus tips came to $50 which kind of surprised us considering it’s like a tuck shop. But everything was tasty and the staff was nice (lots of smiles and gave kids lollipops at the end of the meal) so we do think it’s worth it.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The outdoor seating offered a beautiful view. The portion sizes were generous as well.
