Crossroads Grillhouse - Saanichton

Server was pleasant, food was less than good. My husband had a stir fry which he said was "just okay", I ordered a chicken avocado burger, it was less than okay. The chicken was from a very thin bird, the avocado was from a very small fruit.... it wasn't good. I see that the White Spot is returning to the space and I'm not surprised as Crossroads was a letdown.

My Daughter, four year old grandson and I went to try Crossroads as it has changed from a Whitespot Restaurant. We met at 5:30pm and where three of the seven people there. When we ordered I specifically asked for HOT fries with my chicken cordon blue burger and was told by our server that the fries are always hot. We waited for 30 minutes for our order (I know they must have been backed up in the kitchen with the orders from the other four people in the place). When the food was served the fries where cold and had to be replaced which they did. The chicken was very dry and tasteless which was disappointing as this is a $15.00 item on the menu. As a result I tried to email the restaurant but found no email address for them. I can not comment on the food of my guests but I will not be returning any time soon.

We have stopped by this restaurant every time we fly into Victoria on an early flight, before we head to our hotel. We have always been very happy with the meals, but not this time. My husband ordered fish and chips and they did not have malt vinegar. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, which was served under cooked and only had a little slice of tomato on it. I showed it to the waitress and she returned with two lovely slices of tomato and did not charge us for the sandwich in the end. However, not impressed that the kitchen would prepare such an awful meal to be served to customers and expect that it would be okay. Will not return!

Wonderful staff and food. Laid out well, food is served quickly usually. Prices are decent and portions are good

Once was enough, too bad as it used to be packed. Mediocre food, same for the service. Didn't see anything on the menu that yelled "Grillhouse"
