When I asked about the delay, the staff seemed too busy to help me. I was on my lunch break and expected my food to be ready for pickup. The customer service was quite rude, and I could have simply ordered in-store, where it might have been prepared faster than my online order.
I visited the Rockford Jersey Mike's to order a gluten-free sub. It's important to note that they prepare gluten-free items on a separate counter, ensuring there's no contamination with regular ingredients. I was thrilled to get my food quickly and without the worry of getting sick! Since I follow a strict gluten-free diet, I don’t get to indulge often. A big thank you to Jersey Mike's for going the extra mile!
Awful experience! The kid behind the counter put on some gloves, grabbed a pencil, and wrote down my order. I wanted some bread and asked him to wear clean gloves. He insisted his gloves were clean, but I pointed out he hadn’t used a pencil with them. He just made a snarky comment. I told him to forget it and left in frustration. A few staff members behind the counter thought it was amusing. Following basic public health standards shouldn't be hard, but it seems to be a challenge for this place.
