Restaurant bewertenI had dinner here about a week ago for the first time in about 20 years. Driving by was what made me think about it and memories of good food resurfaced. Inside its dark and cozy and has a rustic and romantic feel to it. I was hungry for a frutti de mare seafood pasta from a picture that I saw posted on Yelp and was disappointed to find out it's no longer on the menu. Therefore, I settled for a seafood lasagna dish for $19.95. i didn't order a side salad but a large loaf of French bread was delivered to the table and it was hot and very good. About 15-20 minutes later my entree arrived and even though it wasn't my first pick, I enjoyed it. It was rich and creamy and had plenty of crab, shrimp and cheese. Normally I would give this meal a 4 but my table service failed me. The waiter was very slow on refilling drink glasses and rarely checked on the table during the meal. i noticed him being busy with other tables but didn't feel the love at mine. It's for that reason I give this experience a 3. I noticed the other waiters regularly checking on their tables. It must have been my bad luck with the waiter assigned to my table. Oh well...
The food was very delicious and the staff was friendly as can be! The candles lit at every table give an amazing atmosphere and the bread was also amazing lol! Would recommend to any Italian lovers!
I had not been to Fratesi's in 20+ years. I'm thankful to say that it was still great after all those years. Food was great, service was awesome!!! Atmosphere still the same.
First time visit and it was really, really good. Have been here 18 years and driven by thousands of times but never stopped in. That was a mistake. Wished I'd been eating here for all those 18 years!
We had not been to Fratesi's since Covid hit, so we took the visiting in-laws this evening. Fratesi's has lost NONE of its touch! Every single entree we ordered was superb: the seafood lasagna was amazingly rich; the veal Parmesan (which also had eggplant) had a fantastic sauce, as did the fish special (catfish with Cajun Alfredo); and the cannelloni pleased even my picky FIL. I went with a classic spaghetti and meatballs; the meatballs were particularly flavorful. On top of all this was a very attentive wait who made sure our every need was met. For the five of us, including appetizers and alcohol, was under $200. I highly recommend Fratesi's for you and your family.
