Restaurant bewertenMy family and I visited Zea Rotisserie on Sunday, August 6th. The food was exceptional, and the customer service was outstanding. Although my dad was not satisfied with one of his side dishes, the manager, Matthew, promptly ensured that he received an alternative side to his liking. I am certain that I will return to Zea Rotisserie in the future.
Right now, there's nothing to say but Excellence! This Sedona chicken panini is always the same bomb- diggity- dish ever!! With Red Beans and rice for the hubby and Sooooooo GOOD with the corn grits? heeeeey!!?️ The portions are HUGE and filling. Zea's hasn't disappointed yet. Even the coffee is good. I had 2 decaf cups!!? Keep it up Zea's!Kid-friendliness: Has good choices for kids from the kids menu...Parking: Parking is a shopping area parking lot. FREE PARKING
Staying in the area for a few days due to meetings. Have dined at Zea outside of New Orleans before and it was a wonderful experience and food. Seeing this location we figured the same. Sadly it wasn't.I went early dinner time. The positive the staff that I interact with very polite and engaging. The restaurant looked inviting.Ordered ribs appetizer and half roast chicken with roasted potatoes and corn grits. The wait wasn't long for food. The positive with the food. Nice presentation of food. The ribs looked good, yet little flavor. The roasted potatoes were good. The corn grits was the highlight of the meal. It was so good and buttery. Could have ate a bowl of this alone. The roasted chicken look good, was hotBut no flavor, just bland even salt and pepper couldn't help. This was a vast difference in what I experience at another location. So disappointing and only picked at the chicken. If at home could improve on it, but since I wasn't, a waste. End up dumping the remaining. So looking forward to dining here more than once, but advise a pretty package but disappointing
Was excited to see a Zea location in Ridgeland due to dining at a location outside of New Orleans. Our meal there was excellent and expected the same. Got the food to go for dining at the hotel. The wait for the food was short and the staff that I interacted with was positive. The food presentation was very appealing and package well with no spillage. We got the appetizer of ribs and the half roast chicken with roasted potatoes and corn grits. While the ribs looked yummy, but little flavor. It was tender and hot. The roast potatoes were good, but the highlight of the food was the corn grits. They were so yummy and wish we had just a bowl of this alone! The roast chicken look good, was hot but no seasonal at all. Got the chicken with the original rub and it was so bland. Big disappointment with even salt and pepper didn't help. If at home could had enhance the chicken better. We didn't eat but a few bites and threw it away. Looking forward to enjoying dining here again, but changed our minds after this meal
I wanted to visit Zea because the menu had more than 1 appetizer and more and 1 entrée that sounded appealing. There was a line waiting to get in on Sat when we left, but it was only half full when we arrived at 5pm. Décor is upscale but a lot of people were dressed in shorts/jeans. The waiter was pleasant but took entirely too long to take our initial drink orders. The spinach dip tasted good but was too small (and no artichokes) for $14.50, only enough for 2. But the main problem was it is too hard to eat. There is soooo much cheese that it makes a mess and you need a knife to cut it. So its not really a “dip”. Be careful with the duck entrée as its not a breast and you have to eat around bones. The glaze saved the salmon as it was thin and dry. Most any time I’ve ordered duck or salmon elsewhere, they asked how I wanted them cooked. But at Zea they don’t ask. Overall, not quite good enough for the price to return and try again.
