Restaurant bewertenHave gone here for years; won't go again for a while. Waited over an hour and a half to get food. Two items on the menus, that we had come to the restaurant for, they had run out of and it was only 6:30 on a Saturday night, and there were several empty tables ! When we were finally served the food was cold and the meat was tough, difficult to cut with a knife. Left the restaurant after a few bites. Bread was stale and the drinks were poor...so sad, used to be a restaurant we would regularly come to on our annual visit to the city.
Great atmosphere on a Thursday night, friendly staff and the original owner is a wonderful man very loving the second we met.
We had an excellent meal in a great atmosphere, the staff were very friendly with nothing too much trouble. The veal was really good as was the chicken, I changed the boiled potatoes and veg for fries and along with the sangria totally enjoyed the evening. Even the accordionist went down a treat. We would have loved dessert but were full.
We had the most disappointing meal of our whole trip!! We were told pasta was made in house … not true! I had pasta with clams. For 30 dollars a plate I assumed they were fresh! Very, very disappointing… find somewhere else to eat!
Let me start out with the service was great, although misleading . Maybe things were lost in translation , but a sign to run might have been the breadsticks in plastic packaging. Being told the pasta is homemade not true . Disappointing, considering how expensive it was … paid less for an exquisite meal at Vin Papillon in Montreal.
