Zorbas Taverna - Prince Rupert

During a motorcycle trip to the Queen Charlotte Islands, we spent the night in Prince Rupert and discovered this restaurant on Yelp.

We were traveling on our way to the Alaska Marine Highway and decided to stop at this restaurant for dinner.

I must say, the chefs really impressed me during this visit. From the delicious Combo dip appetizers (especially the amazing pita) and the flavorful Pakoras, to the excellent pizza options, everything was top-notch.

Zorbas Taverna may not be the most visually appealing restaurant (renovations require a significant amount of money,) however, the food (especially the calamari) and portions exceeded my expectations.

The sales person took our order, said it would be delivered, nobody showed. No answer when we tried to call back. Although we will go hungry, it's probably for the best - never been treated so poorly by a business in my life.
