Jay the Pie Guy - Port Colborne

After an excellent fish and chips next door, we decided that dessert was in order - so we went to the Pie Guy for a sweet; seemed like he had just taken a tray of fresh-baked choc chip cookies out of the oven - very nice. Ordered a couple to go; ate them in the car and came back for another half dozen!The cookie was delicious, kind of chewy and the chocolate was the dark, semi-sweet variety - absolutely killer!

Wonderful place for lunch! Taco pies yummy and the guys are great! If you are in Port, you must try.

Every pie we've had from Jay has been awesome, the butter tarts are unbelievably tasty! Jay's is our only stop for dessert pies!

My peach and cream pie was to die for! The pastry is the stuff of legends as it was so flakey and full of those pockets that you know come from real butter. Afraid to return lest my butt grow three times its curretn size

Jay makes really good soup even though he calls himself the pie guy. His potato and bacon soup is especially good. He has different soups on different days of the week so you can go on the day he serves your favourite. His meat and pot pies are quite delicious and my favourite is the fantastic cheesecakes. Only thing I would change is to lighten up a bit on the pastry for the fruit pies. But great spot for a lunch with a view of the canal and ships.
