Town Bagel - Plainview

We left NY nearly 25 years ago, but when we think bagel shop, it is still the Town Bagel that we think of. We never miss a chance to eat at the Town Bagel whenever we visit NY. Simply the best.

Easy to see directly from Old County Road Service Plainview and the adjacent areas of Nassau County. Many parking spaces and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Appropriately expensive. Credit cards accepted. Big staff mainly owner Steve Cohen who treats you like family. Very recommended! We're definitely going back.

I just discovered this bagel shop on Google, and I must say, their egg sandwich is excellent, and the apple juice is great too!

Highly recommended for local Facebook groups! During my first visit, I was impressed by the cleanliness and sanitary atmosphere. The space is large and airy, filled with plenty of light. They are taking COVID precautions seriously. The bagels were fantastic; I tried the plain and poppy seed varieties. They had a bold flavor with just the right amount of strength, and tasted incredibly fresh. The service was fast, efficient, and courteous. I will definitely be returning soon!
