Port - Pickering

The staff and the food was excellent. Wonderful to sit looking out over the lake in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Loved the duck wings and our burgers. Was great they could sit us as we booked a table thru OpenTable but the hostess didn't have our reservation. They said they do not work with your site anymore. I suggest people call the venue directly to book a table. No doubt it will be super busy over the holidays.

Good ambience. Went there for Brunch. Good food. Partners meal was bland, but the omlet was a big portion and has good flavour.

First time at this restaurant will definitely go back

The food at this restaurant was too expensive for the quality I received. I have visited before and found the same issue with pricing. The steak I ordered was mediocre at best; I have had much better elsewhere. When I made the reservation, I mentioned that it was for a birthday celebration, but for some reason, this information was not acknowledged or celebrated in any way.

The Sunday roast beef was great but the potato/veg accompaniment was ho hum.... I actually asked for salt to attempt to give it some flavour! Waiter was very accommodating with some dietary requests. With very few people in the restaurant why sit 6 tables right next to each other ? Why not spread them out albeit in the same area ?!
