Mary Brown's Fried Chicken - Pickering

We sometimes get the perpetrators here for a treat and a taste of home (Newfoundland). It is definitely a sometimes food!

A while back we decided to give Mary Browns a try since they moved location, however we were quite astonished to find the chicken to be the worst tasting we ever experienced. The chips were just average tasting. We practical left all of the food on our plates which was mostly fat and skin and although the person who served the food saw this did not seem to care. Needless to say we will never be back.

Horrible! We had just pieces of chicken; Too greasy and overcooked. Poor service. It took forever for our order to come and the place was empty. I won't come back!

This chicken was so greasy that neither my wife or I could eat much of it. Felt like I had a rock in my stomach afterwards.

Terrible! Store had no ventilation and was smokey. I person working, never acknowledged me, took more than 10 mins to serve me, no personality, no thanks for waiting. Had 2 of there famous big Mary burgers and 1 chicken strips and gravy, no drinks or fried and it was $32! I would have expected chicken that's marinated for at least 24 hours to be delicious, however I was mistaken. It was the most tasteless chicken I've ever had the misfortune of tasting, I doubt it even had salt in their secret recepie. Will never return.
