Restaurant bewertenEating Chicago-style pizza is like indulging in a delicious casserole, even the thin crust variety. While it has a good taste, it can be a bit boring and is considered the classic, old-fashioned style of pizza.
The sandwich was delicious, very hot and fresh. However, they forgot to include the Gardinara and when I requested the au jus on the side, they dipped it instead. Despite having a satisfying meal, I was a bit disappointed with the taste and ended up throwing out half of it instead of saving it for lunch the next day. The food was good overall, but getting the order wrong left a negative impression.
I am from Chicago and it is difficult to find the excellent Chicago pizza I grew up with here in Phoenix. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find this Rosati's location. Every time we have ordered from Rosati's, the pizza has been outstanding and our guests always rave about how delicious it is. Many of our guests have never tried Chicago pizza before and are pleasantly surprised by how good it is compared to the typical cardboard pizza sold in Phoenix. Additionally, the service at the Ahwatukee location is always excellent. I highly recommend this place.
Had 2 pizzas and garlic parm wings. Family enjoyed the meal. Everyone loved the sauce, and crust (thin)of the pizza. The wings are good size and have a great flavor
I called at 6:11pm to order 2x large pizzas. One sausage pepperoni cooked well; and the other sausage, onion, and peppers cooked well. The weather was inclement with flash flood warnings; so I wasn?t sure about my drive time, and asked for the pizza to be ready by 6:40? this after Keisha was going to say ?ready in 20 minutes? meaning the pizza would be sitting around waiting for pickup at 6:30. I arrived early at 6:35 and paid for my order. Keisha said it would be 6 more minutes. Ok, fine. More than 15 minutes later my pizzas came up to the counter. The one pizza I can see had sausage, onion, and peppers; and wasn?t cooked well. The other pizza I could barely make out the pepperoni, and was cooked slightly longer; but not well. I pointed this out, and the only excuse to offer was that they?re short staffed. He also offered to cook it longer, but the pizzas were already cut; and I was running late for work. If you can?t get it right, and make amends for your failing to fill an order as given, you won?t be seeing my business again. The Rosati?s on Thomas is the best of the franchises in the area. Ahwatukee joins the pizzeria on Baseline as having poor service.
