White Dog Cafe University City

Love it here. A few things I wish to tell the manager though: 1) please keep the plates hot, 2) please bring spoons when you serve soup. Also adjust the temperature indoors a bit higher, it should feel more cozy.

I've been to White Dog Cafe many times it's a classic. We had a great server, Kevin, that was very attentive. We ordered the Ricotta, Salmon, Fries, Sweet and Spicy Broccoli, and cocktails/wine. The only item we didn't enjoy was the broccoli; the description didn't mention that it was deep fried heavy and dense. We each took a bite and then didn't touch it. Kevin was great and asked if we wanted to take it home because we hadn't touched it, but we should have been honest and shared that we didn't like it. It had good flavors, but being fried was unexpected everything else was DELICIOUS as always.

Such a lovely dining experience! Reservations are a good idea-There was a long wait for Brunch! Front desk staff super friendly. Server friendly as well and was busy, but attentive entire time. Food delicious. All of us had something different and we all raved about our meal. Atmosphere was fun and a bit noisy but you can have a conversation. Decor makes it extra special with their themed rooms. Def stop here when in Philly- college touring or visiting a student or family/friends meal.

Amazing food, amazing ambience, and an absolutely perfect setting for our dinner with out-of-town guests!

We loved our server the food the everything. I have gone to this restaurant periodically since the early 90s even though different always really good.
