Restaurant bewertenGood drinks in a fun environment. Good value for a happy hour.
Waitress was fine. Drinks were watered down. Food wasn 't good and advertisedmenu wasn 't available. Complaints to the manager were met with you can pay your bill and leave . Just rude. A horrible way to celebrate a birthday. Never again.
Some of the food that came out was cold. Poor service. The server made things feel awkward, not sure if maybe she was new. The place was empty. The server was doing homework at the bar. Silverware was dirty.
Bootleggers used to be our favorite spot to dine whenever we visited Old City, we always enjoyed the lively atmosphere, fun vibe, and great drinks. During our most recent visit, the food was served cold and the server couldn't be bothered with us, even though there were only a few tables there she just sat at the bar on her phone and ignored us. It was around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night when we left and the place was completely dead. They had decent happy hour drink specials and the neighborhood is fun but honestly I probably will not go back, there is too much competition around.
We went for a last-minute lunch on the recommendation of my boss who is a Philly native. Food was great. Beers were great and and we wound up staying for a few rounds and tried the moonshine flights. Servers were friendly but not annoying and the overall vibe was really chill and fun.
