Salutation - Perth Kinross

We are almost over when we were looking for somewhere to eat lunchtime because of the review here, but we had a pleasant meal and the staff was friendly

My woe bracken and I go daily, I love my pint of tennents and she loves her biscuits, (braking is a western, since 7 years reigned)

Had a meal at the Salutation last night. Absolutely excellent food and service. So much so, we have booked in again for a meal on Saturday night. Definitely highly recommended . Very good value for money too

There was only one other customer in on a Thursday night when we visited. He made it seem like there was a party happening! The barman was friendly enough but there wasn't much atmosphere. This place has potential but needs some interior design TLC.

Well, on a trip north we stopped for a walk through Perth, and stumbled upon the Salutation Hotel and Restaurant. What a great surprise it was for us as we had perhaps the best value for money deal lunch we have had in recent memory! A lovely two course lunch with tea for two was pennies over 20 pounds, and very delicious. Loads of tea and everything delivered with a smile. Such a perfect lunch experience I even felt compelled to let the manager know what a real pleasure it was for us. Very busy even for a mid week day, so plan ahead!
