Apropos at The Abbey Inn - Peekskill

We loved every aspect of our meal and the restaurant!

I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The food was delicious, though some of the entrees were a bit pricey. Overall, it was a pleasant culinary experience and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

First the food was excellent. The bone marrow and the shells were from this world.. johnny the waiter was very good. It took like 15 minutes for someone who came to us and took our drinks orders, but that was the only minus. after this smooth sailing the rest of the way, even the Valet was brilliant.. I will definitely come back to have these shells and bone marrow again. ! The menu on the website is not the same as the menu in the restaurant.

Our overall experience at the restaurant was lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden, which provided a relaxing atmosphere for an hour or two. The service we received was excellent. However, the food was a bit inconsistent. The Caesar salad was fresh, crispy, and had a nice lemony flavor. The lamb dish was excellent, but the shells were overcooked and watery, which was disappointing. The olive oil cake was a satisfying dessert. Although the meal was good, we felt it was slightly overpriced for the quality. Additionally, it was odd that OpenTable only showed a reservation available for 6pm, when the restaurant was mostly empty for the rest of the evening. It seems there may be some issues with the app or management that need to be addressed.

Lovely outdoor seating by a fountain. Excellent food and the service was just right.
