Hi .. id like to inform the public about there age discrimination policy for Friday nights.. im only 35 i was with my partner at the time .. they will say its your shoes every time but when u bring 5 different pairs of shoes because this has happened so oftern.... they then say u have a bad attitude .. .i will never go to the place again .. due to my religious beliefs i dont consume alcohol .. this is disgusting the way they treat people and not to mention illegal .. tho on a sat night my money is good for them .. wearing the same outfit ... 3 other security guards said i was ok with my shoes ... but the door guy didnt .. how it that possible...read more
Go for fish not Steak. I have made a few visits to pj's in the past week. Having eaten the fish of the day, the salmon and the rib eye, i would whole-heartedly recommend the fish Fish of the day was barramundi. It was cooked perfectly and came with a fairly decent fresh salad. All good The salmon came with veggies that were a bit too raw for my liking but the fish was again, cooked perfectly The rib-eye was a good hefty piece. Cooked correctly to medium-rare *but* the fat was not rendered. Eating beautiful meat with globs of white fat on the side detracted from what the meal could have been. PJ's is an all round venue. It has a casual relaxed home away from home feel. PJ's attracts lunch time diners, the after work crowd, party goers and anyone who likes a decent meal at decent prices in a nice place.
Later in the evening I went with Ryan to PJ Gallaghers at Parramatta for Theology on Tap which is a monthly event run by the Catholic youth.
From the outside this pub looks a bit like a bunker or a compound, so I was tempted to walk right past. Glad I didn’t make that mistake, because the expansive internal courtyard is enough to make you forgive the external lack of charm. It’s the perfect place to sit back and soak up some of those precious winter rays over a schooner of James Squire One Fifty Lashes Pale Ale 5.90) and a perfect Confit Garlic, Rosemary and Mozzarella Pizza 14) plucked from the wood fire oven.
