Restaurant bewertenFantastic delicious dining in a relaxed setting. I had the ribs which were fantastic especially with their house sauces which are out of this world! The owner wandered around the tables making sure everyone was enjoying their meals. Other reviewers seem to see some good old fashioned good service as a flaw? I really appreciated how passionate the guy is about his business and customer service. Would not hesitate to go again the fries are the best in the city! Fabulous hidden gem for palmy :
YUMMMMMMM, The true smoked flavour of tender meats that just pull away from the bone and melt in the mouth! Was a little quiet but the staff certainly made you feel very comfortable and welcome. A range of sauces were presented 1st to try prior to ordering your meals this way you could match a sauce with your personal taste. I will be going back for more and to try a few new things! Prices and meal sizes were a bang for your buck!
Had the best lunch. Took my wife and daughter. Everyone was so friendly and polite. I started off with the spicy buffalo wings they were the hottest things I have ever eaten but good news they are served up with an awesome house made ranch sauce. I the got the smoke platter for 1. Ribs so freaking good, smoke tri tip even better and hands down the best pulled pork I have ever eaten. But the best part was their house made sauces, they just are awrsome. It's so awesome to have real smoked food done right. Well and truly deserves more than 5 stars
Finally Someone promising American flavours and delivering on their promise! Went for lunch today, and enjoyed every mouthful. Pulled pork , BBQ ribs, smoked chicken tacos the meat was beautifully flavoured, tender and tasty. The salads were fresh and you have to try the apple coleslaw sweet and creamy rather than tangy. They make their own sauces, and you get to try all four to decide what you want on your meats. The thing is the flavour is not bitter, the smoking instead adds depth and tenderness. Seriously good, well made food. I HIGHLY recommend if you are eating ribs, to tear off some paper towels and make yourself a bib. Light coloured shirts will suffer if you are finger licker like me Two comments with ribs, a finger cleaning bowl or hot towel would be nice, and I also suggest having either A&W or Bundaberg root beer which would be great with your meats. Keep the focus on the food rather than booze. I wish these two couples the very best success and we look forward to your hospitality again. I think we will be back for dinner next time to try a different selection. Ray and Kim
Last minute invite to restaurant for dinner with vegetarian mother and meat lover son. 4 people in total for dinner. Young 22 year old strapping 6 foot lad had been to motor cross that day and only had brekky and snacks the whole day. Needless to say the big burger was ordered. Macaroni cheese, side order of fries, slaw and corn bread for vego. Salad made by chef and couple of steaks with non alcoholic wine and we were set. Samples of sauces and corn chips for starters. Excellent service, steak blue which is to my liking and couldn’t fault it. Great host, good food and good friends sharing laughs made it a beautiful farewell dinner. What more can you ask for?
