Restaurant bewertenI walked into this restaurant expecting something average, but what I found was a hidden gem. I am from North Carolina and travel frequently, and one of my favorite cuisines is Thai food. In my opinion, the best way to judge a Thai restaurant is by their soup and rice. The rice here is perfect - aromatic and delicious. The tom kha gai soup is perfection! It is spicy, creamy, and full of lime leaves, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It is truly great. Additionally, I had a peek at the kitchen and discovered that the lady who runs it grows most of her own veggies and herbs. Fresh mint sprigs were on the counter and lemongrass was being prepped in the back. If this place doesn't impress you, then you must not have experienced authentic Thai cuisine.
I had lunch with my son who was visiting from Pennsylvania. I can't remember the name of the dish, but we both enjoyed the unique blend of flavors, including lime, peppermint, and a fiery but tasty kick. Not for those with a weak palate, but as a spicy food lover, this was fantastic. Thank you to Ms. Crowe for the delicious food and great hospitality. Did I mention it was hot but delicious?
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. It is definitely worth a visit.
Tried the new Thai Food Owensboro place tonight. The service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the chicken pad Thai and the pineapple curry. The food came quickly and was delicious. Way more food than we could eat. We will definitely be back.
As a vegetarian, Owensboro isn’t exactly the easiest place to eat. So when I hear about somewhere with veggie options I always give them a go. Thai food Owensboro is a place that makes you want to keep coming back. They have so many options to choose from, and my personal favorite, the tofu pad Thai, is delicious!! Always have to visit when I’m in town because it is SO. GOOD. Their food is always spot on, reasonably priced and staff are always so friendly! Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!
