Colby's Fine Food & Spirits - Owensboro

For the first time sitting here on my man's birthday and we were not disappointed. I am so grateful that we chose this place for its special day. the service was amazing, the personal was so friendly, helpful and courteous. I have food allergies, embarrassing enough when they go to new places, and while many businesses roll their eyes on it, colbys went over and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of without a torch or an eye roll on the requirements. thanks for that. it's rare. trust me. we're coming back!

We found colbys online and surpassed a chance that surpasses expectations. the pictures make it not fair, the service was great and eating very well. hubby had shrimp scallops linguini and I had hawaiian chicken. hubby said his house made gumbo the best he ever had. my salad included field green as well as speck, ei and tomaten. the whole food was excellent and we even have cake for dessert! I would highly recommend colby’s, not only for a special occasion.

We ate today for the first time at colby. eating was absolutely some of the best! it could be one of my favorite places! I didn't get a picture of our crab-sharp mushroom diving, but it was one of the best things I've ever tried. the crab taste was actually noticeable, I think it had to be really crab and it was served with a large bowl of pita brot slices. we both had salads that came with a piece of cheese-bread. is shown our entrees that contain the salat and an additional side. I had the Hawaiian bun with kartoffelbrei and my friend had the pork with sweet potato fries. both were very large portions, and we both took enough for another meal home. he had 4 pieces of pork chop. if you've never placed this on your list.

Eating was great. hosted and sitting was strange, apparently we came to shift that is understandable. so we waited one. then we sat and we'll tell ourselves that the table we were sitting had kept in an hour. what would have worked well. it does not take us an hour to eat. the problem was that the restaurant was empty. they prefer not to try it again.

This spot is awesome!! Everything we had here was delicious! Great food, great service! I'll be back if I'm ever in the area.
