Otaru Dining No Name

We were made to feel very welcome and the food was delectable, so was the local Otaru wine. The owner is keen on whiskey and has a great selection! Can't recommend enough.

Excellent everything. Nice jazz music on the background. We sat at the bar. Ate mixed seafood starter which was superb, followed by fresh crunchy mixed salad. Then pizza margherita...light and very tasty. Then beef stew. Excellent. The guy who runs the place does everything by himself. Just 75 years young and going strong. A character. Really lovely time

The chef is kind and will recommend you to best dish according to the season. I really enjoyed the warm atmosphere he managed to create using almost exclusively wood. As many reviews already said, the crab and cream pasta is definitely something you should try, it is really delicious. I also ordered a new potatoes gratin which was also excellent. If you are tired of sushi during your stay in Otaru, give this place a try ! Will definitely visit again if I come back in Otaru.

The Gorgonzola and apple pizza was amazing. Lovely little cafe. Friendly owner and staff. Very cosy. Recommend all the dishes we ordered: crab pasta, margarita and Gorgonzola pizza, salmon cream pasta. Get garlic bread to mop up the crab sauce. Would go back!
