Petit Nice - Oostende

Very clean and welcoming. The interior is decorated with beautiful candlesticks that radiate the room. -With the aperitif, you will receive olives to wait... We waited a lot of time to receive our dishes (ail-cream mussels and scampis with saffron), but it was very good. - Servers are more comfortable with Dutch than French, but they are still welcoming, despite the language barrier. - It's the second time I went there, and I'll go back there again.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Well-maintained and honest cuisine and good service. The new operators are doing well! Beautiful plates, perfectly seasoned, really tasty!! Price/quality top! This restaurant was a disappointment. The mussels were dry and tasteless, the fries were frozen, and even the mayo was bad. We were too scared to try the dessert. The overall rating for food, service, and atmosphere was a 1 out of 5. The price per person for dinner was around €50-60.

I had the Irish chateaubriant which was a bit disappointing. Not soft, taste neither to say. Fries and salad were good. We also ordered the mussels and soles, which were very good and certainly sufficient in quantity. Desert, Dame Blanche was very tasty. So because of the fish a 4 otherwise it was a 3...
