Restaurant bewertenMe and my wife went to the Clarence for dinner, once sat at a table , Lewis came and took our orders. He recommended the Rag pudding (which I’ve never had before) . It was absolutely delicious. The food and service was so good that we came again the following evening and were not disappointed. Many thanks to all the staff who were very efficient, and lastly but not least the chef who produced some of the most amazing dishes we’ve ever had.
22 of us descended on The Clarence for a family birthday gathering. The place was packed when we arrived, the manager advised us that the people on our tables were running over and there would be a wait. This wasn't a problem, we got drinks and waited to be seated. The wait was worth it, the food was absolutely beautiful ! The staff were very accommodating, 22 people on a busy Sunday afternoon and they nailed it. This is a lovely pub with a belting new menu. If you want quality food and are prepared to wait a little go visit. If your looking for instant food, go to McDonalds quality fresh food needs to be prepared and savoured...
The service at this site is shocking The staff stand around and don’t pay attention to what you require. Had to go and get our own drinks from the bar as the staff didn’t check if we needed any more Two tables got their food before us even though we ordered before them. Didn’t want to risk ordering a dessert as didn’t want to wait another 45 mins This is the second time in a row that the service has been shocking and it wasn’t even busy Won’t be going back until the service improves dramatically
We arrived late in Greenfield and this was the first bar we came across, what a fortunate discovery! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food exceeded our expectations. My partner tried rag pudding for the first time and it was amazing, served with mushy peas and homemade chunky chips. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned the following night. I had a meatball marinara panini and my partner had sausage and mash, both dishes were delicious. We finished off our meal with an Aperol spritz. We can't wait to come back again.
The Clarence welcomed us with open arms, and the owner was very accommodating even though we didn't have a reservation for four. The menu was impressive, offering something for everyone's tastes. The service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their delicious and generously portioned meals. Overall, I would highly recommend The Clarence to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
