This place used to be really good. Have not eaten here in a while till tonight. Had an order of 6 to go. Everything was the same. Somehow this confused the kitchen as they were running food out to our “”already completed order”. Brisket was cooked in an oven. No smoke taste. Basically a roast. Smelled no smoke when approaching the restaurant. Sausage had no drill marks or smoke to it. Potato Salad used to be great — not anymore. This used to be a hidden gem. It is now a big time price gouge for people who think brisket should be cooked in a home oven. Very disappointing. Also ordered sweet tea to go and got unsweet. Not what it used to be not even close

My husband got the three meat plate with brisket, sausage and turkey I had the three meat plate with brisket, sausage and ribs. All meats were so tough, that a raw hide chew toy for dogs would have been easier to eat. Brought most of it home for the dogs. We were there shortly after they opened the new restaurant and all food was absolutely delicious at that time. I don't know what happened. Use your own judgement if you consider on going in.
