Bailey's Cafe - North Sydney

On a cold Monday morning when i woke up tired and dazed, the only thing on my mind was a cup of strong coffee to get me started. Then when I took the first sip from the coffee I got from Baileys, I instantly felt disappointed. It was burnt. I am not a coffee snob that require specific coffee beans, but I know what I like and don’t. At $3.8 for a regular coffee, I would expect a bit better than the cup I had from this shop. Question is do they deserve a second chance or should I cut my losses? thernbdiary.com

Asked for the veggie burger, the man at the counter asked me if I wanted one from the special board (which all had meat in them). I asked for my burger to have no sweet chilli, then again I asked for no sweet chilli when I saw the docket printed out with no modifications on it and the man replied 'yep'. My burger was ready, and as I went to take the wrapping off there was some sweet chilli on it! I advised the man at the front counter that I had told him twice I wanted NO sweet chilli to his reply 'oh I can put some on for you!', I advised no, I did NOT want it. I then sat down and fixed it up because the way it was put together was terrible to then bite into it and be told they'll make a new one - some minutes later. I said no it's not a problem and just had it as is but if I had an allergy and did not check that could have been terrible. Always a bad experience with them between the man not knowing what he is doing, the women ignoring and being rude and leaving food to go cold to service all their regulars instead and to just getting pretty much everything I order wrong. This top story was just the top of the cake for my bad experiences there (so far).

Gefragt um den Veggie-Burger, der Mann an der Theke fragte mich, ob ich eines vom speziellen Brett wollte (das alles Fleisch in ihnen hatte). Ich bat um meinen Burger, keinen süßen Chilli zu haben, dann bat ich wieder nach keinem süßen Chili, als ich sah, dass der Ansatz ohne Änderungen daran ausgedruckt wurde, und der Mann antwortete "yep". Mein Burger war fertig, und als ich ging, um die Verpackung abzunehmen, gab es ein paar süße Chili darauf! Ich riet dem Mann an der vorderen Theke, dass ich ihm zweimal erzählt hatte, ich wollte keine süßen Chili zu seiner Antwort 'Oh, ich kann etwas für Sie einstellen! ", Rutschte ich nein, ich wollte es nicht. Ich setzte mich dann nieder und fixierte es, weil die Art und Weise, wie sie zusammengefügt wurde, schrecklich, um dann zu beißen, und sei gesagt, sie machen ein neues - einige Minuten später. Ich sagte nein, es ist kein Problem und hatte es einfach so, als wäre ich nur, wenn ich eine Allergie hätte und nicht überprüft, was schrecklich gewesen sein könnte. Immer eine schlechte Erfahrung mit ihnen zwischen dem Mann, der nicht wusste, was er tut, die Frauen ignorieren und unhöflich sein und das Essen lassen, um kalt zu werden, um alle ihre Stammgäste zu bedienen Diese Top-Geschichte war nur die Spitze des Kuchens für meine schlechten Erfahrungen dort (bisher).
