Viva Zapata's Mexican Cantina

Average Mexican food ! I would not go out of my way to eat there again ! Service was pretty good but food was just average nothing special about it . It was extremely cold in there too making for a uncomfortable dining situation .

Fantastic food/drinks, with great value for the money. The service is friendly and efficient without the helicopter effect. I LOVE the local non trendy places-and this fits!

Zapata's is such a delicious place to eat Mexican food. The food was so good l ate everything. l didn't even have leftovers to bring home yum. Even my 2yr old enjoyed the fideo soup refried beans and chips pretty much everything. That's the place to go if you really want to taste authentic Mexican food and the price was fabulous so reasonable for everything I ordered. It's a must try

1/3/24: Went for lunch. Had the carnitas and they looked like the meat had been taken from scraps leftover from the grill. Rice was cold. Beans only warm. Server not friendly at all. Fideo was hot but lacked flavor. Won't be returning.

This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in las vegas. You can order just about anything and it's a winner. I recommend the steak picado, NY strip cut into pieces and placed into a Spanish sauce.the alcohol drinks are good as well. So if your looking for good Mexican food this is a must try. Take friends and or family, most will not be disappointed.
