Restaurant bewertenReal italian pizza , Fresh ingredients , polite and friendly staff, value for price, highly suggested!!!!
Visited this restaurant on the last night of a holiday in Nice. Wish we’d found it earlier. Just up the street from where we were staying on Boulevard Gambetta. Very much a restaurant frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. Made very welcome by the staff think it was the owners). Lovely atmosphere , simple almost rustically furnished. Menu included pizzas, meat dishes, lovely starters and desserts which we were too full to eat! We were served complimentary bread and olives. I had chicken breast pieces in lemon sauce with rice, my partner had a Calzone pizza which he said was the best he’d had during our stay. We had a 50cl bottle of house red which was mellow and extremely palatable. The total price was the cheapest we’d paid all week during our holiday for the best meal we had. Highly recommend.
If you’re visiting Nice and near Boulevard Gambetta and you want to lunch in a friendly atmosphere with predominantly local patrons, then go no further than Le Duo. Friendly staff, intimate ambiance with a wood fired pizza oven delivering flavoursome meals reasonably priced as are the glasses of good vino to match. The lady next to ours had the calzone which looked amazing. My family and I (two adults and two teenage sons) enjoyed a margarita pizza and 4 glasses of wine for a little over €20. Lunch will not be served prior to 12:00 (midday).
We wanted to find a genuine pizza restaurant and we struck hold with Le Duo. They make fantastic thin pizzas in the restaurant which taste delicious. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Recommended especially if you want to avoid the tourist traps.
You wouldn't realize what you're about to have until the pizza you ordered is on your table. One of the best pizzas We've ever had
