Restaurant bewertenShowed up for the dinner reservation and we were seated promptly. Ordered drinks and later put in for our meal. Had burrata ravioli along with Nona’s meatballs. Both were excellent. I ordered the filet medium rare. What arrived at our table was not a filet, it was more of a roundish New York strip. It was over-cooked to the point of being gray, but at 1/2” tall there wasn’t anyway *not* to overlook it. Also, there was a fair amount of fat which surprised me for such a lean cut. I had been there several times, maybe it was an off night. But I likely won’t be returning unless it’s restaurant week or something.
Service was good, swordfish was excellent and unfortunately the filet was significantly undercooked.
Love the food, but price is a bit higher than similar options. Also great garden in the back so locally sourced veggies on your plate.
Pasta overdone and the sauce did not live up to description. Burger quite overdone and bun quality poor.
What happened to this restaurant? It used to be so good but now it's really dropped in quality. My first indication that something was different should have been when the server was acting rude and almost poking fun at us for asking about an item that was no longer on the menu. But it was no joke, he was just being rude to us. Any normal server might have suggested something similar to what we wanted, but he just told us that a lot of people really liked that dish and they've taken it off the menu. Sidebar; why would you take off a really popular dish? I ordered the Korean Short Rib pasta and was pretty disappointed, even the pasta itself was bland. The ribs were so-so, but there is no reason to order that dish. The salmon pasta was also bland, but the salmon was fair enough. Sorry to say that the Provenance I used to know no longer exists. Instead we're left with this restaurant that looks the same but is a sorry replica of what once was.
