Es war ok. Nicht viele Bars in der Gegend. Essen ok. Trinkt gut. Kleine, gemütliche Bar einen Block von unserem Hotel entfernt. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr nett Mehr Bewertungen anzeigen.
My friends and I had a fabulous experience at The Rickey Cocktail Lounge. Would definitely visit again.
My husband surprised me and took me here for my birthday.Let’s start with the good. The cocktails 9/10, it’s a true cocktail bar with true cocktail masters. The room is great with nice dark lounge atmosphere. Now the bad. The service is SLOW. Either they are understaffed or they need to find a way to only serve bar patrons. Even when about half the bar was empty we had no one come to our table serval times and went to the bar. When we went to the bar they told us they’d come to our table… and never did. This even happened when paying. Bar tender was nice and offered tequila shots for free. The music doesn’t fit the atmosphere (80/90s rock/indie maybe? and overly loud takes away from the visual lounge atmosphere. Also had a reservation and couldn’t be seated, ended up getting a table with a vase between us and very income table chairs while groups of 7 shared a four top and couples shared a 4 too (bad management of seating .
The good: Decent cocktails, interesting selection, 3 different choices for our party and all were well received. The bad: Reserved a table, asked the bartender if they offered table service or if I should order at the bar told either was fine, it wasn 't busy. Moved a cushion on the couch was covering a rip. After 10 mins and no one coming to the table, went to the bar and ordered. Tried to interact with the bartender, he took the equipment and materials down the far end and made them there clearly a snub. Ordered bar snacks from the menu, they never came... Came back to the bar and asked some questions about the Japanese whisky bartender had no real clue, and just showed me the bottles, seemingly annoyed I would ask... Still no bar snacks. Ordered 2 whiskies, and about to order a cognac but the bartender turned his back to the register for quite some whiskies poured but not yet given to us. Bartender turns around and is told by another bartender to serve a new, sizable party that just arrived. He does, whiskies still out of reach and no cognac ordered... I had to shout above the rising noise to get attention one bartender saw me waving and turned his back. The busser saw me and I asked him to get the attention of the guy serving me he ignored me. Then a member of the newly arrived party turns to me and says we are trying to place and order here, dude : O Finally the guy comes back, I get the whiskies and a cognac. I ask him to cash me out I remind I got no bar snacks, he says I 'm not charged except for drinks. I pay, and I even tip (silly me). 5 minutes later, enjoying the whisky, the other bartender comes and throws a check at me and says I didn 't pay for my first round. I had no itemized receipt, how would I know? I ask for one, and then settle the new bill with cash. I 'm handed change short changed and the bartender turns his back. More shouting to get attention, then attitude when I ask for the correct cash change. No tip this time...
Great place. At one point, we were looking for our waitstaff. The bartender noticed and actually came over to assist us! Nice yet down to earth atmosphere. Would definitely come again :
