Palette - New York

Understaffed. Our waiter was nice but completely overwhelmed. They only had two waiters for the whole restaurant. Took forever to place our order. Kept having to ask for things you shouldn’t need to ask for — plate for our 4th guest, silverware, bread, salt/pepper.

Our waitress was very nice but clearly frazzled. Might have been a staffing issue. That is forgivable. The sloppy and unappetizing condition of our salads was not. I've dined there several times before and it felt like an off day. We complained about our salads and they were removed from the bill. We paid for beverages and appetizers.

I shared a fabulous holiday kick off lunch with my daughter. Our food and service was outstanding! The Kit Kemp designed room was gorgeous!

First time back since it closed for pandemic. It’s beautifully decorated, different from before but still beautiful (more serene). Food was excellent and thankfully they still have the raisin bread! Great service. Always a stop when I’m in NYC.

It's always great and very comfy and appealing and the food is always good as is the service.... you can hear yourself talk and you can hear your table mates talk..which is very nice!
