Restaurant bewertenOld school, and thank God for it. Amazing food, world class service, and overall just a fantastic night out. It is pricey, but you don't ever feel ripped off. I can't wait to go back. This would be a special occasion place for me normally, but I think I need to be a regular. It's that good.
Great local Italian spot, wait staff is simply amazing with character and how they take care of you. Food is amazing, one of those places you can order anything and not be worried if it will be good.
The service, wine and food were fabulous. It started with the antipasto coming to the table when we were seated along with the bread and olive oil which was so delicious really nice. Mom I wanted to split our food to two plates so we could enjoy multiple courses and the kitchen split them for us. First course was a stuffed artichoke, second course was lobster ravioli, third course was a veal dish which was tender and had great flavor. We ended with the lemon sorbet and 2 spoons, it was such a nice presentation in a lemon which had been hollowed out, stuffed with sorbet and frozen. I really can not recall a more attentive wait staff. The price was high for me being from Oregon but not high for NYC. It was a great first experience in the city.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Excellent food, wonderful service and the recent updates/rehab to the interior are lovely. Not inexpensive, but worth it. A great spot for a special date, business dinner or get together with friends.
An elegant remnant from the past with excellent food and very gracious service. The staff makes you feel like a frequent and familiar guest whether you've last been there last week or three years ago. There are many small touches to make the meal feel special and the Italian inspired food is truly wonderful.
