One of the best restaurant/bars I've been to. We were lucky enough to be there when the owner was working- she's someone that loves food, wine and working in hospitality. And it shows. The food was sublime- perfect-sized plates that were full of flavour but not overbearing. We ordered small plates, and will return to try the mains when we are in town next. The wine list is large, and you'd be wise to ask if there's something you want that's not on the list. They have an extensive cellar. The cocktails are expertly made, and if you need some help deciding, you'll be treated like an adult- there's no pretentiousness here. I like a whisky with a large block of ice. And I was delighted that they had perfect clear ice rocks to go with my dram. If you're in New Plymouth, go here. You will not be disappointed.
