The Family Bistro At The Golden Sands Tavern

I usually hate leaving reviews, but this time I feel it had to be done. The food is absolutely AMAZING. due to circumstances (mostly me being drunk and didn't realise i was having someone else's food i ended up eating 2 meals and they were both to die for. The staff was great and very welcoming. I'm italian and very picky about quality 5stars not enough! I'd give the whole firmament for them. Cocktails rad too!!

Wow thank you to the bar staff for their friendly and efficient service. This goes a long way when visiting the area. I would also highly recommend the amazing food, presentation and delivery and friendly banter with our meals

We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and experienced great, friendly service the whole night. Their special passionfruit margarita was to die for!! But most of all we experienced one of the best meals we have had in a long time! The chef did an amazing job to prepare perfectly cooked Salmon and garlic prawns. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and to top it off they have live music!!!

Without a doubt, this is the best dining experience in Nambucca. Just keep in mind that it's a locals' pub! During our visit, there was a fantastic band performing, but since it’s a small venue, the music made it hard to chat over dinner. Most of the staff were wonderful as well! I will definitely return.

I had a wonderful meal at the Tavern on Thursday. The full rack of ribs was fantastic, and the lemon herb chicken with arrabiata sauce and gnocchi was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef! They also have a great selection of beers to choose from.
