Restaurant bewertenHorrible service! Don't know about the food since we didn't stick around long enough to eat. The server was rude and the outdoor dining area was infested with flies.
The RV park is behind the motel restaurant. It's basically a backin space with questionable looking RV hookups. The restaurant was overwhelmed by only a handful of patrons and we were told to come back in an hour! Food was average.
Came here to whale watch and decided to try this place. Several options front patio, inside dining room, and back patio. It was a nice late afternoon so we decided to eat on the back patio. I ordered ice tea, specially asked no sugar. Yup it was sweetened. I asked the server he said yes it had no sugar. I asked to get a coke instead then he brought the coke and then said oh yes that tea did have sugar but can make it again without sugar. Took forever to get and he looked annoyed. I ordered the sea scallops with brown butter. Asked for no onions no garlic he said it doesn't come with onions or garlic so I think okay this will be good. First to arrive was a seafood soup that came with the dinner it was tasty with little bits of clams, etc. promising! Then the entre arrived Yup it came with the brown butter and chunks of sautéed garlic!! I know they didn't think I asked them to add garlic as one of the other girls got the same dish with the garlic too. I asked them again for the dish without the garlic sorry but out of scallops. I ordered the shrimp salad, dressing on the side: it arrived as ordered the shrimp was tough/overcooked in a heavy mayonnaise dressing mixed with peas, potatoes, carrots on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. Thankful the dressing was on the side because it would have been drowning in dressing! My friend ordered the filet (medium rare) and shrimp. Filet came wrapped in bacon and sautéed mushrooms unfortunately it was well done! Other friend ordered the fish soup tasty with chunks of white fish, clam and mussel. Dessert we ordered the flan not too bad. Thick, creamy with a sweetened milk poured on top and sprinkled with cinnamon. Pros convenient and full bar Cons don't expect to get what you ordered, special requests are mostly ignored. Server will look at you and try to walk away until you call him and then looks annoyed that he has to get something else.
It was 2130 hours when we rolled into Guerrero Negro. Found this gem was still open. Had a large house salad and appetizer of fresh sautéed bay scallops in garlic butter and green onions. Not too strong just right. I would've ordered more food but these portions were good amount. I'll definitely be returning!
Had a nice fish dinner, looked just like the pic they posted except that the fish was one piece the size of my palm. Nice veggies and they started with a nice squash soup. With 2 small margaritas for the two of us $30 total. Great salsa.
