Denny's - Moorpark

Very nice restaurant. Clean and nice servers and good food.

This is the best Dennys! They know us there and as we sit down they already know what drinks we order and bring them to the table before we even tell them! What restaurant does that nowadays? It is really a great neighborhood restaurant that believes in personal customer service! It is a testimonial to good old fashioned service that I thought was a thing of past. I love this place! Great food and super service!

Of course, I read about the size of portions, and we prudently took one serving for two, but even they ate it for 3 days !!! It's good that it is possible to pack leftovers in a lunch box. But I saw that many simply threw not only half-eaten, but simply slightly bitten portions on the tables and left. I can imagine how much food is thrown into the trash there, and this at a time when there are homeless people sitting on every corner in LA! If the feature of this restaurant is the size of portions, then I do not understand it. The pancakes themselves are tasty, but not outstanding, similar ones can be obtained for breakfast in various places. Plus, there are no prices for drinks on the menu, we ordered coffee without specifying. They brought a coffee filter, for which they ripped off 10 bucks, i.e. coffee was more expensive than pancakes.

After being called to book, we arrived early, but we were immediately seated. At night we got our wine and decided to enjoy it with their delicious homemade bread. The special burrata salad with fried tomatoes and avocado caught our attention. We walked along these with special steaks. Polite and delicious served with arugula parmesan salad and home-made gnocchi. Just loved the way we were and had to turn off a lot of home made desserts. We will save them over time. And there will undoubtedly be many more.

Mother's day early breakfast after morning mass. Eggs Benedict were great, fast service for a busy day. Came home with leftovers too.
