Restaurant bewertenI really wish I could score Motorino higher as the staff provided my family and I with a highly positive experience. They were friendly and conversed with us as if they knew us. However, my high standards for Italian food which are influenced by my Italian background got in the way. <br/ <br/ I don’t believe the stuffed mushrooms fulfilled their name. They were mushrooms with some caramelised onion and chopped tomatoes. <br/ <br/ When I looked at the pasta menu I was intrigued by the pasta with prawns and chorizo. Even though, there were generous portions of prawns and chorizo, the dish lacked flavour.<br/ <br/ However, I LOVED the baked bocconcini with prosciutto. The oozing cheese and crisp prosciutto were a match made in heaven.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. On arrival and during the evening, the staff were warm, welcoming, attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. The pizza had just the right amount of toppings and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The standout however was the blood orange gelato. Just WOW!! It is perfect for a family or for a date as the atmosphere is quite intimate. I loved the butcher's paper and crayon's on the tables.
So, so good! Book early were fortunate to even get a table for 6 pm on a Saturday night. The pizzas are very well made; fresh ingredients and the balance of flavours were exquisite. The antipasto starter was rammed with meat and proved excellent value. Can only largely re endorse what has been said elsewhere.
We have been coming to this place for a long time, it always enjoyable to come back. Meals are always of good standard and don't change. Staff are also very welcoming. Definitely a favourite and priced well.
Motorino is a charming suburban restaurant with a lot of heart, serving fantastic pizzas and pasta dishes. The staff are lovely and the cozy ambiance makes you feel right at home. The hand-written blackboard menu offers daily specials that are tempting and delicious. My family and I enjoyed a variety of pizzas and a chicken pasta dish, all of which were exceptional. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the creamy tomato sauce had a wonderful Italian flavor with generous amounts of chicken. The pizzas had crispy crusts, sweet tomato sauce, oozy cheese, and fresh toppings like spicy salami and roasted pumpkin. The wine list was fantastic, and the Italian classics on the menu were executed well. For dessert, we indulged in ricotta cannoli with a side of strawberry gelato, which was heavenly. We left Motorino with full bellies and can't wait to return for more delicious food and fun.
