Restaurant bewertenI would come here every day if I could. I ordered my favorite dishes this time - noodles, Sate Babi, Soto Tangkar, and Cap Cay. The Sate Babi was fantastic. The Soto Tangkar went perfectly with the kecap manis, reminding me of my childhood in Jakarta. The Cap Cay was a bit too wet for my liking, but still tasty.
I was thrilled by the authentic flavors of Indonesian home cooking at this restaurant. They offer delicious Indonesian dishes that taste just like home-cooked meals. The ambiance resembles a Warung, a small eatery often found outdoors or on the streets. (To be continued)
If you enjoy Jakarta food, this Indonesian noodle shop is a great choice. The ketoprak, in particular, is authentic and possibly one of the best versions in Sydney since the peanuts are freshly ground by hand. The satay was delicious and the chicken was marinated perfectly to capture the taste of West Javanese chicken. The only downside was that the Nasi Tim was a bit too wet, but it still had great flavor. Overall, I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars for its style of food.
Best Indonesian fruit salad “rujak buah” I’ve tasted in Sydney! One of the best I’ve ever had! Fresh mix of fruits with excellent palm sugar, peanuts chilli dressing. Had them when I was pregnant and did not disappoint at all!
I love My Delight. They make really good Bakmi Ayam and Gado2 (their peanut sauce is so on point) not surprised though, I always see this Indonesian aunty in the kitchen working her mortar pestle to make this delicious sauce! Service is always good the people are super friendly!
