Restaurant bewertenMy wife and I decided to try this restaurant after I visited the old courthouse for early voting. We have dined at several nearby places, but we were eager to try something new! The outcome? Different is definitely good! Our first experience here was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and they were very knowledgeable— their food recommendations were perfect! I ordered the double-deck schmelzburger, and it did not disappoint! My wife chose the smoked salmon sandwich with roasted Brussels sprouts, which was just as delicious! To top off our meal, we indulged in dessert. I opted for the double chocolate brownie sundae, but my wife's bread pudding was exceptional! Normally, I'm not a fan of bread pudding, but I would gladly eat hers again! Overall, I highly recommend this place!
I had the Fried Chicken Benny at New Court, and it was delicious. The dish featured fried chicken on a biscuit, topped with a perfectly fried egg, and it came with home fries. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which was fantastic. Everything was excellent!

I recently tried the new FRIED CHICKEN BENNY dish, and it was absolutely delicious! It features fried chicken served on a biscuit smothered in gravy, topped with a perfectly poached egg, and comes with home fries on the side. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, and everything was outstanding. Highly recommended!
For dinner, I chose the beet and goat cheese salad and added grilled chicken to it. I believe you can also add steak and possibly seafood options. Because I have some dietary restrictions, it’s often challenging to find something tasty, especially at a pub, but this meal was perfect for me! For those avoiding gluten, note that the chili on the menu, which I had considered, isn't safe as it contains wheat as a thickener—our server checked with the kitchen for me. My partner opted for appetizers for his dinner, having nachos and wings seasoned with Old Bay, which he thoroughly enjoyed! We dined outside along Battle Street, and I loved the atmosphere. However, there was one downside: the unexpected loud muscle cars and motorcycles cruising through historic downtown, revving their engines for no reason. It was quite annoying and disruptive for diners trying to enjoy their evening, though this isn’t the fault of the pub. Overall, I look forward to bringing friends back here again!
