Restaurant bewertenEverything was great! The spinach and mushroom enchiladas were especially good. I love El Dorado.
I miss all the kitch… Kudos to the staff… I know they were short-handed, but the service did not suffer! As always, the best margarita in town!
Went for happy hour and overall the food was above average. The chips were rather bland and definitely thicker and harder (not crispier) than most places I've been to. The queso and guacamole tasted great. Had the Tres Leches and Icebox Cheesecake desserts, and they were delicious. It may be poor memories or the overall effect of time and the pandemic, but we recall the appetizers and main entrees being more appealing and tasting better.
Eldorado used to be one of the best restaurants for dinner and brunch in Madison. The brunch menu still has several items they used to offer but with different ingredients. I had the breakfast burrito which used to be my favorite. In my opinion the food is just not as good anymore. It’s not terrible, just very average and with there being so many brunch places I don’t feel like I need to go again.
Food was just ok, for the ambiance, and being in Madison, we expected and hoped for more. No wonder they had openings graduation weekend.
