That's a great bar. the staff are very friendly and stand for a little fun. it is very convenient for shops and restaurants. worth a visit.

My fiancée and I had an indescribably great dinner in our first night in lyon, but in our second night we were looking for a lighter rate. we were happy to find what seemed a popular local tapas spot, and thought that was a good...sign unfortunately, after we did not greet or even acknowledge the door until we went to the middle of the place and stood there for one, we were then put on a table and left alone for at least another 10 minutes. as soon as our order was finally removed, there was no bonsoir or even an eye contact from the blunt server that was thrown off by our weinkaraffe (without glasses first). the clearly reheated dishes later arrived at the same time, and besides the olive bowl (big deal at 1.50) they were a disappointment. Cold, sticky calamari fritta, which looked exactly like wobble rings from a bad Burger spot. so-called paella, which tasted like Rice-a-roni (the, I confess, I have nothing against it) and had no hints on seafood. everything we could forgive, except that the service was the most incarnate, ambivalent lack of effort we have ever experienced. I had to get to our server at the bar to get the water that I had requested 30 minutes earlier, and he seemed angry that I had interrupted his chat with the only other server there, the woman who had previously overrun with our wein. seriously, young, get it together or clear the room and let them occupy a real restaurant! there are too many amazing opportunities in lyon to have this dud to his call.
