Station Lic - Long Island City

We arrived with a reservation, but were met by a very rude host, who seemed inexperienced and unprofessional. We have two young children, aged 2 and 5, and instead of seating us at one of the perfectly good low tables nearby, they placed us at a high table. They also offered a high chair. Once we were seated, the host immediately took our water glasses away, which we didn't understand at all—perhaps they thought our children would break them? We can understand extra caution around kids, but they didn't replace the glasses for a full 20 minutes. The food was good, but unfortunately, the service did not match. Despite the poor experience, we didn't complain and even left a generous tip out of appreciation for one waitress who seemed to be the only one working. She did her best to take care of us whenever she could.

Despite having a reservation and being the only group there at the time, we experienced slow service, drinks that got progressively worse, and a general lack of attention from the staff. I won't be returning.

Everything was fantastic! The pepper shakers were particularly impressive. The flank steak was outstanding, and the wine list is excellent without being overly expensive.

Service a bit slow, but friendly and excellent eating. the tuna duo!

The service at the front of house is quite poor, but fortunately, the food is excellent.
