Bixby Golf Sushi - Long Beach

Sushi was okay. The portions for happy hour are wack cause they are just too small. My hot green tea was cold. Our first waitress was good but the second one was short with us for some reason. Even though service wasn't that good we still left a good tip for them :)Food: 2/5

We stopped by recently as we were in Long Beach. A pleasant surprise. As we walked in the aroma of food being cooked was delicious.They have a huge menu!Our server was diligent and thoughtfulThe food we ordered came out quickly by the various servers and was delicious!I'd recommend Sapporo to anyone and everyone!

I was VERY PLEASED with Sapporo Sushi! The sushi was GREAT. The only part of my meal I didn't love was the garlic edamame, it didn't taste as fresh as other places however their sushi was one of my favorites. They were very generous with their fish portions and had a great fish-to-rice ratio! They also had gluten free soy sauce, which is a game changer for me. I will for sure be back. Only complaint: bathrooms had a pretty bad smell.

We went to celebrate my wife's Birthday and the food was amazing!!! The only thing better was our great server, India!!!! She was so accommodating and helpful and just really nice. She went way up and beyond to serve us and talk with us.Food: 5/5

One of the greater sushi places in LB for sure. I 've been hearing so many people talk about this place that I had to try it out. So many options on the menu that it overwhelmed me, but they 're all such great options. I got the Seaweed Salad, Sapporo Roll, and the 2 pc Sushi (Bluefin Tuna). The quality of the fish is so fresh and doesn 't taste fishy at all. My friend got the 2 pc Sushi (Fatty Tuna) and it was so much tastier than the one I got. I would ask for the market price before ordering so there aren 't any issues. As for the Sapporo Roll, other rolls my friends ordered had better taste and flavor to them so I would get other options next time. The seaweed salad came out first and it was also great along with the rolls for the texture and taste. Take adavantage of their Buy One Get One Roll. I was too overwhelmed to realize I could 've chosen something from there for the best deal, but I 'm sure I 'll be returning.
