Every time we order, we get the Smash burger and it does not disappoint. Today, we snagged some chocolate cupcakes with homemade buttercream frosting. Wow! Just overall amazingly good!

This little restaurant knows what it is, what it wants to be and follows this consistently. The menu is simple, straightforward ‘American food’ that is delicious and made and served with love.Owners John and Regan grew up in the finger lakes, southern tier area and spent some time in NYC working with industry professionals of the highest caliber and the upbringing and background is pleasantly obvious.The old ice cream parlor location on Seneca Lake is easy to find, pleasant to drive to and inside there’s a cute, cozy, comfortable, simple dining room. Lots of outdoor space too when the weather is cooperating.Currently serving lunch and dinner, brunch at weekends, Johnny’s is a rare gem in the area that serves good, consistent, approachable, all from scratch, comforting food at reasonable prices in a salubrious, welcoming environment.Please go and enjoy this restaurant.

Home made Cavatelli was perfect. The Mahi Mahi tacos is a favorite of mine. You will enjoy the freshly prepared creative dishes.
