A Menza Quartara - LIPARI

We were having a tour around the island and we just saw it.as we were tired of all lipari being so touristical...we were certain it would be great... All the guests were having fish and loved it!!! We had pasta ,pizza.and delicious salads!!!it was great!!far away if you don't hand a car but really peaceful!!!!

We were around the island with a scooter and we bumped into this restaurant, quickly we checked review and prices and we thought it could have been a good catch. The restaurant has many tables, inside , outside and offer a nice view on the island in front. We had as starter a plate with the name of the restaurant, where you can taste a bit of everything from the area. Further, absolutely we wanted to go for a pasta (not industrial one) and it was a great choice. The also offer many other second main dishes. Good ingredients and good proposals, respecting the traditions of the area. In two persons we ha da bill of around 50 euro. Highly suggested and this is suggested from someone who comes from the area.

Lovely terrace, lovely owner but quality/price isn't that great and well below Italian's standards.. it used to be better

Nice to have lunch during a hike, fresh salad. The water was microfiltered which tasted a little peculiar; I prefer natural water. Coffee not bad, but also not noteworthy. Friendly service: tables and chairs were brought outside to accommodate the guests on the terrace.

We really enjoy the excellent dinner the owner suggested a very big fish absolutely fresh she prepared the filet as main dish and with the poor parts she created a pasta that I will remember The place is not nice but service and preparation are far better then what you can find in many places
