Restaurant bewertenUn classique !
While up from Ottawa, we were taking a break from the flea market and decided to get some food. We didn't know what was good in the area so we just drove around and came upon this place.I ordered a double hamburger with all of the fixings, what I got (see picture) was less than stellar. It looked like two pancakes and some paper thin ground beef patties with a few sprinkles of onion on top. What the hell is this mess? Do people actually eat this garbage? The poutine was just as bad. Stringy fries with mozzarella cheese and watery gravy. It looked like puke in a bowl. This being Quebec, I'm embarrassed to call whatever that was, a poutine. The only upside is that they sold cheap beer there.I still can't believe that this restaurant chain was established in 1954!!! How? The food is garbage! McDonald's makes better food and that's not saying much.If I was starving and Dic Ann's was the only place left on the planet, I would die. Utter garbage. Stay away! If I could give this review less than zero stars, I would. It doesn't deserve 1 star.
Everyone has to try a burger at Dic Ann's. The burgers are small in general so you normally have to buy 2. They arent expensive and worth it if you like their special sauce. If you like their sauce you will keep on going back.
I stopped here for lunch the other day and what a treat. Their special version of the cheese burger with their spicy sauce is almost addictive a must for anyone who is a Montrealer, our heritage is not McDonalds,Burger King and the rest of those guys but Dillalo Burger and Dic Ann's try and visit these guys before they disappear.
