Yolanda Jean Cafe - Launceston

Off the main streets in the Centreway Arcade this hidden gem of a café, have passed many times without stopping. Decided to give it a go recently. Wonderful eggs benedict and good tea,. I was so impressed I called back later in the day for a great huge toasted sandwich and tea. Good service, food and reasonable prices!

Treated myself to an indulgent pancake stack, it was served with icecream and cream, and the coffee was good too, as was the quality of tea. Friendly attentive staff.

A hidden gem was discovered as I wandered little back alleys of Launceston. Do you want friendly and polite service? Then this is worth checking out. Simple fare but very tasty.

Just read previous reviews, wish I'd done that BEFORE I'd gone there, don't order the steak sandwich it is overpriced even with 25 percent discount from Entertainment voucher, waited over an hour for our meal,clearly the steak had been waiting around too as it was cold and tough.

We found this little cafe and it wasn't too busy so we decided to go in. The service was terribly slow and we waited 1 and a half hours for some fish and chips that was barely edible. The fish we got was not fresh at all it seemed like it was left outside for a while. Just disgusting. The owner didn't even acknowledge it and just didn't seem to care. We were on holidays and that just ruined our day. Do not go there. Its just terrible.
