Restaurant bewertenHad the meatball with broken okra. The food was seasoned well with lunches. Great service in good atmosphere.
Great family fun. You've changed the layout since I was there last time. Make it more dynamic. Workers do a good job to give the children safe instructions.
Great little place to eat. Never heard of it before, but here it stumbled and saw many good reviews. I had two big fried pork chops with salad and fries. At first I'm not a fan of super thick cut pommes. For me, they can never be fried enough. I like crispy pommes if I ask you to freeze them extra crispy, I expect them much more than what I have. Wouldn't be bad if you asked me. The salad was nice and I enjoyed my pork chops. I would definitely come back and try more. Great menu and my friends had some good looking seafood plates.
6/21/21 I came for the first time at 5:20 and had the best service and best food! Ross was our waiter after the name ticket on our table; but the other waiters and waiters would get the slip for their counterparts to make sure that the customers were good at any time (with drinks / order more food, etc... : that was tidy and a very good step through management! 5/5 stars for this great hospitality strategy among employees. The food was also the best. Homemade quality! The restaurant also has a real chill ambience. I ordered: 1. A cup of shrimp and Okra gumbo: came warm, and it was certainly very good! 2. The seafood jambalaya did exactly as I mean!! Now I know where to get the food I enjoy when I don't feel like cooking! Lol 3. The potato salad was a basic salad like what maw-maw would do: just the potatoes and eggs with Mayo/Mustard mix. But not too much must. Simpler and bland-just like maw-maw would do it because she didn't want it to exaggerate the other great foods she has made. 4. The lateral order of okra is a 10/10!!!!! Who cooks this food??????!!!!!!! You are the best!!!! 5. Grilled paprika with crab stuffing and some tartaric acid sauce made it just right! 6. Order 3 Desserts: German chocolate cake, carrot cake and pineapple on the head cake: They came out of ample style. The pineapple on the back of the Bungalow Desserts was the best of the 2. I can't believe this place was in Lafayette for so long and I never knew. This place does not even show up on Google for places that are opened to dinate. Anyway, IF you WANT AUTHENTIC FOOD that MAW-MAW WOULD COOK in HER KITCHEN, This is the place to be!!!
The chicken-fried steak was the best I have ever had. Two weeks earlier I had their crawfish bisque and it was delicious.
